BI for hospitals running Tasy

Your Tasy already holds the data that shows where the hospital loses money. Clic Health turns it into board-ready dashboards, with no system change and nothing written to Tasy.

Tasy is one of the most widely used hospital information systems in Brazil. It records patient care, patient accounts, supplies, finance and accounting. What it does not deliver ready for the executive board is the management layer: KPIs calculated with the same rules, compared with budget and with last year, on a screen any manager understands. A BI for Tasy does exactly that: it reads Tasy data and turns it into decision dashboards.

Clic Health is a BI built for hospitals that run Tasy. It does not replace Tasy and writes nothing to it: it adds analytical capability on top of the data the hospital already has.

Why not rely on Tasy reports alone

Information system reports answer operational questions well, one at a time. Management needs something else: linking billing, costs and accounting with the same rule, comparing periods, drilling down to the cause, and having everything refreshed without manual work. In practice, without BI, hospitals end up exporting reports to spreadsheets and building KPIs by hand, which takes time and creates different versions of the same number. The article how to turn Tasy data into management KPIs walks through that path.

What the hospital needs

  • Tasy in use and a read-only database user, created by the hospital's IT team.
  • A Windows server or virtual machine for DataClic, with outbound HTTPS internet access.
  • IT and controllership staff available for implementation and number validation.

Some management information is usually not in Tasy, such as the management income statement structure, cost groups or budgeted volume by area. It is entered through standardized auxiliary spreadsheets, filled in by the hospital inside Clic Health.

The most common questions are in the Tasy integration FAQ.
