For hospitals running Tasy
Purchasing, supplies and inventory with Tasy data
Supplies and drugs weigh heavily on a hospital's cost and margin. See what Clic Health tracks today and what is not yet part of the platform.
Supplies and drugs are among a hospital's largest variable costs and also among the largest sources of revenue on the patient account. Tracking how much each department consumes, how much each item yields on the account and how much sits in inventory is an essential part of management. This page shows, transparently, what Clic Health tracks today with Tasy data and what it does not yet cover.
What exists today
| Dashboard | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Department Consumption | Each department's consumption by material group, class, subgroup and item, based on dispensing |
| Supplies Analysis | Profitability of supplies and drugs: revenue, cost and margin per item |
| Revenue Tickets | The supplies ticket per patient, month by month |
| Balance Sheet Indicators | Key balance sheet indicators and the book inventory position |
| Patient Account | The share of supplies in each encounter's revenue and cost |
What is not yet part of the platform
To avoid promising what is not ready: Clic Health does not currently have dedicated purchasing dashboards (quotes, purchase orders, supplier lead times) or operational inventory management dashboards (turnover per item, days of coverage, reorder point, expiry). Inventory appears in the accounting view and in consumption by department. If these analyses are a priority for your hospital, let us know: they feed into our development decisions.
How to use what exists
- Unusual consumption: compare a department's consumption with its volume. Rising consumption with stable volume calls for investigation.
- Supplies margin: on the Supplies Analysis dashboard, items with negative margin point to an outdated payer price table or a high purchase price.
- Supplies ticket: a per-patient ticket that rises month after month, with the same encounter mix, signals higher consumption or higher prices.
- Cost in the result: the income statement shows the weight of supplies in variable cost and the variance against budget.
