A screen for every decision. From the board to billing, all connected to Tasy.
Platform
The whole hospital, with the same number for everyone. The board sees results, the administration sees where revenue leaks and every manager sees their own area.
Board
The board decides with the results in hand. EBITDA, cash generation, net debt and risks against target, on one screen.
Risks against target
Denials, collection period, overdue invoices and occupancy, each with its target and status.
Twelve months of results
Operating result against budget, month by month, without building slides.
Administration
Revenue dropped and you know in which area. Revenue, margin, EBITDA, denials and defaults, with each area's variance against last year.
Where you are losing revenue
Each hospital area with previous, current and the difference side by side.
Output against last year
Surgeries, visits, exams and patient days, public (SUS) and private.
Payer negotiation
Come to the table with each payer's margin. Billing, supplies, physician fees and contribution margin by payer.
Who bills the most
Payers ranked by their share of hospital billing.
Who leaves the least
Lowest-margin payers first: where to start renegotiating.
Physicians and fees
Fees are checked before they go out. Fees by physician, procedure and payer, with each account's status.
Account by account
Each encounter with the physician, procedure, payer and amount.
Physician impact
The weight of physician cost on operating revenue, month by month.
Budget vs. actual
The budget becomes a monthly routine. Budget, actual and variances, line by line of the P&L.
Four views side by side
Budget, actual, variance against last year and against budget.
Variance by cost center
Who overran the budget, in which expense group and by how much.
Unit efficiency
Every unit with a traffic light, month by month. Revenue, margin, fixed cost and result of each cost center.
Revenue units
Four criteria per cost center, with the period score.
Support and administration
Fixed cost of each support area against the revenue it sustains.
Bill efficiency
No negative bill goes unnoticed. Revenue, supplies, fees and margin per item and per encounter.
Margin per item
What each supply, drug and procedure leaves on the bill.
Negatives on top
Negative-margin encounters come first.
Market benchmark
Know whether your number is good or bad. The hospital next to the median of similar hospitals, by size, region and profile.
Similar hospitals
The peer group chosen by size, ownership, region and public-health mix.
Where to improve
The indicators furthest from the median, with what each one measures.
Forecast
Know where the month will close before it ends. Forecast close, scenarios and the method's error on months already closed.
This month and the next
Billing, denials, margin, result and cash, with conservative and optimistic scenarios.
Error stated plainly
The method is tested against months already closed, and the error shows on screen.
Action plan
From the number to the action plan, without another meeting. The AI builds the PDCA for the indicator that worsened the most: the problem, the target, who, how and when.
Plan, do, check, act
Each action with 5W2H: what, why, where, who, when, how and how much.
Take it to the meeting
Export to Excel or PDF, or email it, with the numbers on screen.
Clic Health AI
Ask the way you would ask your controller. The answer comes in seconds, with the number, the period and the source.
It is the system's own AI, answering about the open screen. Tap a question or type yours inside the screen (in Portuguese).
Plug and play
Running Tasy? Then you can start. No complex implementation and no hundreds of development hours.
All the hospital needs is Tasy with its modules in use. Screens, calculation rules and the AI come ready.
DataClic is installed on the hospital's server and reads the Tasy database read-only. Nothing changes in the system the hospital already uses.
More than 40 dashboards, the board and administration screens and the AI arrive built, with hospital controllership rules.
If the hospital does not yet use a Tasy module the screens need, our team implements and configures it.
Security
Built for health data. What identifies the patient never leaves the hospital.
What is Clic Health?
Clic Health is a hospital management BI (business intelligence) tool. It reads data from Tasy, organizes billing, patient care, costs, income statement, finance and volume into more than 40 board-ready dashboards, and has an AI that answers questions about the dashboards, with sources. Details are on the platform page.
What is hospital BI?
Hospital BI is the set of data, rules and dashboards that turns what is recorded in the hospital information system into information for decisions: revenue, margin, denials, costs, volume and cash. Good hospital BI delivers the same number to everyone, with a clear source and kept up to date. See the hospital BI guide.
Can BI be integrated with Tasy?
Yes. Tasy stores data in a database that BI can read with a read-only user created by the hospital's IT team. In Clic Health, reading is done by DataClic, an agent installed at the hospital that queries only what the dashboards need, brings only what changed and never writes to Tasy. See Tasy integration.
How can artificial intelligence help hospital management?
AI mainly shortens the path between question and answer: managers ask in plain language and get the number with an explanation, without building a report. It also points out the period's largest variances and organizes action, building PDCA plans and SWOT analyses from the dashboards. Uses and limits are covered in the article artificial intelligence in hospital management.
How does a hospital dashboard work?
A hospital dashboard reads data from the information system at set times, applies calculation rules to each indicator and shows the result on a screen with filters, the variance against a reference and the ability to drill from the total to the detail. See hospital dashboard.
How do I calculate a hospital's average collection period?
Average collection period = accounts receivable ÷ average daily billing for the period. Calculate it by payer, because each has a different contractual term, and track the trend month by month. See the article on average collection period.
How do I analyze a hospital's income statement?
Start with the result and compare it with budget and with the same period last year. Then find the line that explains the difference (revenue, denials, variable cost, payroll, fixed cost), the cost center where the deviation concentrates and whether the cause is volume, price or payer mix. The walkthrough is in the article how to analyze a hospital income statement.
What is a hospital claim denial?
A denial ("glosa" in Brazil) is the payer's full or partial refusal to pay an item on the hospital account, for technical reasons (procedure without justification, quantity above expected) or administrative ones (missing authorization, registration error, deadline). See the article hospital claim denials.
