A hospital's **financial KPIs** depend on information Tasy already records: patient accounts, receivables from each payer, payables and accounting entries. Clic Health brings that information together in dashboards that show revenue, margin, periods and balances with the same rules, ready for the finance meeting.

## The financial dashboards

| | Dashboard | What it shows

| Collections | The organization's average collection period, by payer, with receivables by due month

| Payments | The average payment period and the balance payable

| Receivables table | A pivot table of collections for specific analyses

| Fully open accounts | Open and/or denied receivables, by due date and by payer

| ADM Command Center | Revenue, margin, EBITDA, result, default rate and average collection period on one screen

| Board Command Center | Result, EBITDA, cash generation and risks against targets

| Payers and Payer Analysis | Billing, margin and tickets for each payer

Collections dashboard: average collection period and receivables by due month and by payer.

## The KPIs and how to read them

- **Average collection period**: how many days, on average, the hospital waits to be paid. It should be read by payer, because each has its own contractual term. The article on [average collection period](https://clichealth.com.br/en/blog/hospital-days-sales-outstanding) shows the calculation.
- **Default rate**: the overdue unpaid balance relative to billing. It must be separated from denials, which are refusals to pay, not delays.
- **Average payment period**: how long the hospital takes to pay suppliers. Compared with the collection period, it shows the pressure on cash.
- **Contribution margin by payer**: what each payer leaves after denials, supplies, drugs and physician fees. See [contribution margin by payer](https://clichealth.com.br/en/blog/contribution-margin-by-payer).

## Why link finance to billing

A hospital can have a good billing month and a bad cash month. That happens when accounts take long to be billed, when payers pay on long terms or when part of an account is denied. That is why Clic Health links the financial dashboards to the [billing and denials](https://clichealth.com.br/en/tasy/billing-and-denials) ones: managers see revenue, the accounts that have not yet become receivables and the receivables that have not yet become cash.
